Exotic and Game Meats

Game meats have special place in NZ Cuisine and help to define it and reflect our love of the outdoors and adventure.
Great Taste NZ has led the way in bringing Game and Exotic Meats to NZ menus including Ostrich, Milk Fed Lamb, Kangaroo, Crocodile, Wild Pork, Venison, Goat, Thar, Rabbit and Hare and more recently Alpaca. Many of the products are also available as speciality hot smoked sausages, salami and other added value formats.

Wild Game Meat

A tender, lean healthy red meat, available in a range of cuts for all cooking methods. Grown in Galatea in Bay of Plenty.
Milk Fed Lamb
New Zealand grown delicacy, available Sept - Dec each year. Produced from Kuratau Station at the base of Lake Taupo.
